To support a growing Building Control team, the full-time Remote Plan Checker (Registered Building Inspector) will assess building regulation applications and technical submissions for compliance with Building Regulations while working remotely across the UK. Key responsibilities
Assess building regulation applications and plans for compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation Review architectural, structural, fire safety, accessibility, and energy-related information, providing technical advice on compliance issues Manage statutory consultations with Fire and Rescue Authorities and maintain accurate records of assessments within statutory timescales Required qualifications Current Class 2A -D Building Inspector (RBI) registration with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) Strong experience within Building Control and plan assessment in England Thorough knowledge of Building Regulations, Approved Documents, and associated legislation Experience assessing technical drawings and building regulation applications Understanding of fire safety requirements and statutory consultation processesBrooksville family needs a pet sitter for 1 dog.
